Baby Bedding

Eight years ago, when we started the adoption process our agency told us we were most likely to adopt a boy, and I fell in love with a transportation crib bedding set. I ended picking a more gender neutral bedding and we were over the moon when we learned we would be adopting a little girl. Fast forward to now…we are having a boy and my beloved transportation crib bedding is discontinued. They still make it for a twin so no worries. But the internet came to my rescue; I found the sheet (and a few other infant things) online; and I still love it.

Now I would be equally happy to be pulling out all my pink. I loved reusing Elise’s stuff for Maggie. The crib in the picture was Elise’s and then Maggie’s and now will be Jack’s. (Maggie kindly put her mark on the crib by teething on it.) But I’m trading in the pink for blue, and now another special little girl will enjoy it. I am excited to be passing all my pink to a dear friend who is waiting to foster (and adopt) a little girl — the pink will live on. 🙂
