Elise is growing!
So, I have some comparison photos of Elise in Vietnam at 6 months and Elise now at almost 10 months. Now she actually fits in the 6 month clothing we took to Vietnam. Woohoo!
She went to the pediatrician last Thursday, and she weighs 14 pounds (below 5th percentile). Her head measures in the 25th percentile and she’s 26 and 1/2 inches (20th percentile). The pediatrician assured me that Elise would probably be on the chart if we used a Southeast Asian growth chart as it is she measures a little low compared to all the Caucasians.
Anyway, here are pictures of our growing girl! (Her birthday is two months away. How did that happen?!)
- December in Vietnam
- What’s outside?
- What is that?! (Daddy saved his My Pet Monster.)
- Onesie and no idea who we are in Vietnam
- 2 weeks ago, same onesie and a lot more expression
- Hanging out on Daddy
- I pulled out the camera, and she totally posed.
- Her left hand needed help getting the food to her mouth.
- Discovering food sticks to one finger
- Success!

I haven’t seen a pet monster in ages. Wow! Good thinking daddy.
Can’t believe her birthday is already two months away. Big plans?
A My Pet Monster?! Yeh-hesssss!
I knew there was a reason we kept that crazy thing all these years!
