I have a particular interest in this and spend a lot of time reading about plastic pollution worldwide. I actually discovered your organisation during the course of my research and have wanted to get involved for a long time. I would really like to get hands on experience to fully appreciate the scale of the problem so that I can communicate this more effectively in my next body of work. I am in Australia, so I guess the first step is to see if there is even a spot available for someone without a scientific background. And then work out costs etc.
