Spring Break Recap

For this year’s spring break staycation, we tried out new activities and new restaurants and just had fun. Maggie, our homebody, even got in on the excitement and asked at the end of day three, “What are we doing next?!” We planned activities Monday – Thursday, and we are all ready for a day at home tomorrow. The girls just plan on watching movies and drawing with dad while I relax with a pedicure and massage – a perfect end to the week.

On Monday, we ate lunch at Fuddrucker's and saw the movie Paddington.

After the movie, we walked around the mall and the girls found the store, Justice. I am in no hurry to go back there again, but they each picked out an outfit -- they're tastes are definitely different!

Tuesday, we made the 90 mile trek to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose. It did not disappoint.

Maggie wasn't as excited about how close the animals got the car, but she was more than happy to throw food out the window.

Lunch...I read about The Lot on a mommy blog and it was a great choice because it has a huge sand area for the kids to play in - perfect.

Thursday, we had a play date with a college friend of mine. We hit a play place at a mall, lunch at Potbelly's, and Coo Coo's - an indoor play area with inflatables and a train.
